Getting the backstory to learn about how Fiona's been using him would feed some of that curiosity, as would the many other lies she and Rhys have been using on their path to a Vault. What would Scooter's motive be? Well, after taking a nosedive on the planet's surface, he's bound to be curious about what set them all on this journey to begin with. What if Scooter actually survived his plunge back to Pandora in Escape Plan Bravo? It's insane to think that he'd be in one piece, so would he be injured enough to require armor and a mask? It's a long shot, but not out of the realm of possibility. Is it safe to rule him out? Not entirely. Would he go so far as to don a mask? Unlikely, especially in the aftermath of Escape Plan Bravo. He was the kind of guy with a noticeable inferiority complex, as evidenced during his many talks with Rhys (primarily the one in Catch A Ride about Rhys ditching him at an old college party) and it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that Vaughn would still want something out of this entire ordeal on Pandora. He was always the low self-esteem, "try too hard" kind of guy. But now it looks like Yvette has taken that opportunity and run with it.Īs mentioned in previous "burning questions" features, there were reasons to find Vaughn suspicious that go beyond him simply attempting to bargain with Vasquez in the early episodes. If he was going to do it, it surely would have been to get ahead in Hyperion. And judging by the events of that episode, it doesn't look like he's about to betray the party anytime soon. for the fourth episode, stuck with Cassius in parts unknown. But that episode pretty much turned any negative expectations of Vaughn on their head, just by virtue of his sheer absence. Then, it's big-ass sword time.Man, I had this as my pick right before Escape Plan Bravo released. After you are done, a bunch of cutscenes (and some talking) will happen. Choose your methods of fighting in that instinct sort of mode, then just continue on with the QTEs. Start by choosing plan of attack, I went run and gun. Eventually, you will get slammed down on by the Traveler and switch back to Fiona with the guardians. Time for some actually kinda entertaining QTEs while you fight. You gotta pick up all of your teammates and it'll suddenly be Voltron/Power Rangers. Nah, just kidding, you'll just immediately switch back to Rhys and Gortys. He'll end up teleporting into place and some slow motion will happen as Fiona and Sasha fly into him.Īfter some "mercy" from it, you'll be back with the girls. You'll fight for a bit, realizing that you wish that Rhys just had one of those modded shotguns from the first Borderlands. Then, it's time for a Gundam/Godzilla type of fight. Continue on talking about all your problems. You'll talk for a bit, then see August somehow in a self-driving car. Start by putting a circular peg into a circular hole to revive your big ol' robot friend. You will hear the entire plan and have another opportunity to, or to not, compliment Sasha. I chose Athena, Jenny, and August (on my actual playthrough, I missed out on Zer0 because I did not know what to do until later).Īfter some quick cutscenes, you will have your squad. Your choices can be Jenny Springs, Zer0, Athena, Felix, August, buying vault hunters (a fun surprise), or Cassius. You get to choose from all of your friends from throughout the story to be a part of your squad. You'll get to finally figure out who they are too! Hey, a good exoskeleton can't go to waste! You'll have to interrogate the Mysterious Stranger. There will be a bunch of awkward talking as you walk past all of your fans. After some crazy shit, you'll have one less enemy and meet a bunch of new/old friends. You'll be back in the future with the Mysterious Stranger, then Rhys will reveal that he owns the rights to Atlas now. You can choose to crush or keep your a piece of you. After awhile, you end up no longer being a cyborg. Then, just keep continuing forward for a tiny bit 'til Jack starts conversing with you. After that long while, you will have to attempt to climb over a car, then rip its door off. Just keep following the path for a long while. After some bro stuff, one of the saddest moments in any Telltale game will happen while some good music takes us into the intro.Įventually, you will land and have to bust out of your escape pod. Dodge some bullets, and you can let Yvette will take it regardless of what you say (if she isn't with you, it'll be taken anyway). You can screw with Jack a bit, then spot a pod that is left. Time for Rhys to find himself an escape pod. Loader Bot will send you back to Pandora and Rhys will give it a call. There will be some normal Telltale QTEs until your ride vanishes. You get to talk to the old 'friends' and get into a firefight.
